Celebration of 128th Anniversary of Darjeeling Himalayan Railway

North Bengal Science Centre, Siliguri (West Bengal, India) celebrated 128th anniversary of Darjeeling Himalayan Railway by organizing a number of programmes.On this occasion a photo exhibition showcasing the spectacular history of the toy train, now included amongst the UNESCO world heritage sites was organized in the science centre campus from 22nd August’09 to 31st August’09.Hundreds of children from different schools came to see the exhibition. Rare photographs, artifacts on DHR were on display in the exhibition. Movies on DHR, open house quiz and Popular Talks were organized during the time the exhibition was on display
